The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc. (SDWP) is a non-profit entity chartered by the City and County of San Diego to administer employment and training programs that empower job seekers to meet the current and future workforce needs of employers in San Diego County.


Ensures a high standard of data quality through training and support for end users of data management systems; provides analysis and reporting; works collaboratively with program teams to help inform decision-making.

Serve as subject matter expert for data management system(s) which support workforce development programs.

o Provide technical support to users

o Develop and deliver training on system

o Create or update policy and procedure documents

o Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement new processes or programs

o Collect and analyze performance data

o Perform quality assurance of data

o Ensure compliance with funder regulations

o Create reports and run queries

Communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders through various mediums (e.g. email, videos, in-person, manuals, policies)

Research, identify and develop innovative tools to increase productivity for provider staff/program specialists and make data more accessible to leadership (e.g. FileMaker, specialized reports in CalJOBS, Excel and other tools)

Represent SDWP in community, interdepartmental, interagency and professional meetings; interface with funders, employers, training providers, job seekers, contractors and staff

Perform all other duties as assigned


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Customer service mindset required

Strong problem solving required

Experience performing data handling and analysis using tools such as SQL, Excel, FileMaker, Tableau or similar software

Experience developing and delivering training through tools such as Camtasia, GoToWebinar, etc.

Strong presentation skills

Experience with public sector programs strongly desired

Understanding of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs desired but not required

Spanish fluency desired but not required


This position is a Level II (L2) in SDWP’s career path (levels 0-8). The salary range for (L2) is $47,476 - $65,000. New employees typically start at the lower end of this range, but salary is commensurate with experience, related skills and education. SDWP offers a competitive benefits package, generous PTO and 11 paid holidays.
